The first three cars of the train that descended as a result of the collapse of the bridge in the Bryansk region received the most damage. The details of the incident on June 1 were told to Izvestia by a passenger.

"And the first car just flew away completely, and the second car turned over. The third car is also a collision, ours is the fourth. Up to the tenth car, everyone has the same injuries. These are the hemorrhages. The guys, of course, the machinists, died. There was a truck lying on top of them," she said.

She noted that initially it was not entirely clear why the train had stopped. So, it was possible to assume the action of a stopcock or braking. The passenger stressed that people getting off the train helped each other.

The woman also praised the prompt work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the ambulance, which quickly arrived at the scene of the accident.

"Everything was done instantly. Instantly, all the guys worked just fine — there aren't even any complaints," the passenger said.

The collapse of the bridge with cars on it onto the Klimov – Moscow passenger train occurred on the evening of May 31. According to the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), the collapse occurred due to "illegal interference in the activities of transport." The Moscow Transport Prosecutor's Office has begun an inspection.

According to the latest data, the death toll is seven people. Another 30 people were injured, including two minors. It is also known about the death of the train driver and his assistant.
