Almost 70 people were injured when a bridge collapsed in the Bryansk region.

The number of injured as a result of the collapse of a road bridge on a passenger train has increased to 69 people, including three children. This was announced on Sunday, June 1, by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"By this hour, the number of injured is 69 people, including three children," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that three victims, including one minor, are in serious condition. According to Bogomaz, 44 people are in hospitals, 22 people are undergoing outpatient treatment.

The collapse of the automobile bridge on the Klimov – Moscow passenger train became known on May 31. According to the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), the collapse occurred due to "illegal interference in the activities of transport." Heavy machinery was used to dismantle the rubble.
