The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the destruction of the AFU UAV control point in its area

The gunners of the Vostok group of forces hit the control point of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donets direction of the special military operation zone. This was announced on June 1 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the Yuzhnodonetsky direction, the gunners of the Vostok group of forces launched a high—precision strike on the control point of the enemy's unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

The target was detected using aerial reconnaissance equipment. As a result of the strike, communication antennas, relay equipment and personnel who were in hiding were destroyed.

"The elimination of the facility seriously complicated the use of enemy drones in this area, depriving the enemy of reconnaissance and strike capabilities," the Defense Ministry said.
