A passenger train driver and his assistant were killed in the collapse of a road bridge in the Bryansk region on the evening of May 31. On Sunday, June 1, Ekaterina, a friend of one of the train conductors, told Izvestia.
"I wrote to her: "What happened?" She stopped responding altogether. Then a friend sends me a video about the train," said the interlocutor.
Afterwards, the conductor replied to her friend Ekaterina that she had suffered a broken leg.
Ekaterina found out during the conversation that the train driver and his assistant died as a result of the accident. In addition, another conductor was injured, hitting his head hard.
The conductor, who suffered a leg injury, was hospitalized, Ekaterina said.
The collapse of the bridge with cars on it onto the Klimov–Moscow passenger train occurred on the evening of May 31. According to the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), the collapse occurred due to "illegal interference in the activities of transport." The Moscow Transport Prosecutor's Office has begun an inspection. According to the latest data, the death toll is seven people. Another 30 people were injured, including two minors.
