- CNN has learned about the escalation of the Trump administration's conflict with educational institutions

The administration of US President Donald Trump is increasing pressure on the country's universities on the basis of ideological work. This was reported on May 31 by CNN, citing a source.
"The administration intends to step up its attacks on Ivy League universities and other educational institutions," the publication says.
It is clarified that some of these institutions are currently negotiating with May Melman, senior political strategist at the White House, and Stephen Miller, adviser to the US President on homeland security. Representatives of higher education are trying to figure out how to avoid being targeted by the Trump administration.
The reason for the increased pressure on educational institutions is the insufficient fight against anti-Semitism in the education system, the media noted.
Earlier, on May 29, the US State Department began checking all visa holders associated with Harvard. CNN called the move an escalation of the Trump administration's feud with Harvard.
Prior to that, on May 27, the US presidential administration suspended the appointment of new interviews for obtaining student visas, as it is considering the possibility of introducing mandatory verification of social networks of all foreign students.
