68 fans were detained in Paris for rioting during the Champions League final.


In Paris, law enforcement officers detained 68 football fans for participating in riots during the Champions League final match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Inter football clubs. This was reported on May 31 by the BFMTV channel, citing a source.
"In the capital as of 22:00 (21:00 Moscow time. The police made 68 arrests, mainly for possession of mortars and incendiary substances during the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan," the publication says.
It is specified that the first clashes between football hooligans and the police took place on the Champs-Elysees in the French capital.
Earlier in the day, the PSG and Inter teams named the squads for the Champions League final. It is clarified that Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov was not included in the starting line-up of PSG.
On May 29, 28 fans were detained in Poland due to clashes after the match between Chelsea and Betis. According to The Telegraph newspaper, the guards were forced to use tear gas and water cannons to counter the hooligans.
