At least eight people were injured due to the collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region.

At least eight people, including a child of 5-6 months, were injured when a bridge collapsed under a train in the Bryansk region. The corresponding information was reported to Izvestia by the Bryansk Disaster Medicine Center on June 1.

The child is currently in serious condition in the regional hospital.

It is also known about seven more victims due to the incident. There is no information about their condition at the moment.

The collapse of the bridge with cars on it onto the Klimov – Moscow passenger train occurred on the evening of May 31. The causes of the incident are not yet known. The governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that there were casualties.
