Thai model wins the Miss World pageant

Thai model Opal Suchata Chuangsri has won the Miss World International pageant. This was announced on the event's website on May 31.

The competition was held in the Indian city of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. The girl received the crown of the winner from the hands of the previous finalist, Kristina Pyshkova, representing the Czech Republic in 2024. It is noteworthy that the previous competition was also held in India.

"The competition began with the introduction of all 108 delegates, followed by the announcement of the top 40 quarterfinalists — 10 from each continental region: Africa, America and the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Oceania," the organizers said.

At the same time, Russia was not represented at the competition.

On February 25, Yulia Pavlikova, a resident of Crimea, won the Miss Europe 2025 beauty contest in Lebanon. It is noted that the second place was taken by a representative of Ukraine, and the third place was taken by a girl from Bulgaria.
