A Russian racer died in an accident during a rally in the Pskov region.


Navigator Nikita Severyukhin died in an accident during the Pushkin Mountains rally in the Pskov region. This was announced on May 31 by the press service of the race organizer, ASMG.
It is specified that the incident occurred on the fourth special stage. Severyukhin's car flew off the highway. According to the press service of the race organizer, the pilot of the crew was not injured in the accident.
"After joint consultations with the promoter of the Russian Championship and Cup, ASMG, and the leading teams, the race leader decided to stop the Pushkinskie Gory 2025 rally and cancel the remaining special stages," the Telegram channel said.
ASMG expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and promised to support the family of the racer.
Nikita Severyukhin was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia in 2025. The certificate and the badge were presented to him by the Minister of Sports of Russia Mikhail Degtyarev during his working trip to Udmurtia on February 27.
On May 11, a racer ran over people in the Irkutsk region. As a result of the incident, a 17-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries. Two people were also injured. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules"), Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").
