The number of victims as a result of the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Rylsky and Lgovsky districts increased to 16 people. Alexander Khinshtein, Acting governor of the Kursk region, announced this on May 31.

"Two more victims were treated as a result of a night drone attack in Rylsk, they are a mother and daughter," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that the 37-year-old woman has a bruise of the right elbow joint, minor ankle wounds, and during the examination, doctors found a bruise, an acubarotrauma of the right ear and abrasions of the right knee joint. According to Khinstein, the residents are undergoing outpatient treatment.

Earlier in the day, Khinstein reported UAV strikes in Rylsk on two five-story buildings: an apartment caught fire in one of them, and a fire started on the third floor in the second. In addition, two buildings and a garage caught fire in the Lgovsky district due to a drone attack. Later, the acting governor wrote in the Telegram channel about the growing number of victims. He specified that among the 14 residents there were two children with mine-blast injuries.
