Peskov commented on Macron's slap in the face from his wife

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Saturday, May 31, commenting on the incident between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on board a plane in Vietnam, noted that the wife does not slap her husband for no reason.

"You know, I'm still convinced that it would be incorrect for us to comment on family matters in the Macron couple. On the other hand, if a wife slaps her husband, she never just does it. But this is not our business," Peskov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, published on his Telegram channel.

He added that the Macrons' family affairs should not be brought into the public space.
