Orban accused Ukrainians of involvement in international fraud

Approximately 80% of bank fraud cases are committed by citizens of Ukraine. This was announced on May 30 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
He noted that scams are becoming more complex and are often linked to international criminal networks.
"For example, a Ukrainian fraud network was recently uncovered, and 80% of such scams are committed by Ukrainians, Ukrainian organized crime and the mafia," the HVG portal quotes Orban as saying.
Last December, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that telephone fraud had been elevated to the rank of Kiev's state policy. Malefactors often act under the control of government agencies and structures.
