In a new strategic review of defense issues, the British government will call Russia an urgent threat to the country. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper, according to which this conclusion will be made in the strategic review of defense issues of the United Kingdom, which will be presented on June 2.

According to the newspaper, the document will tell about the "immediate and urgent danger" coming from Russia. At the same time, the article says, the report will not contain the conclusion that the UK is already at war with Russia because of the threat that Moscow, according to London, poses in the cybersphere.

The report will also indicate the intention of Britain and France to deploy multinational "support forces" of up to 30,000 people in Ukraine if Russia signs a long-term ceasefire agreement.

In January, Vladislav Maslennikov, director of the Department of European Affairs at the department, announced that Russia had no plans to attack NATO countries. According to the diplomat, Russia has never sought to worsen relations with HATO, the blame for their degradation lies entirely with the alliance.
