Tons of potatoes were discarded in Primorsky Krai

Upon the dumping of a ton of potatoes near the village of Surazhevka in Primorsky Krai, measures are being taken to find a violator of the rules of cargo management. Vyacheslav Kwon, the head of the Artyomovsky city district, informed Izvestia about this on May 31.

"Upon the dumping of potatoes in an unidentified place <...>, measures are being taken to identify the person who committed a violation of the rules of landscaping," the message says.

An administrative protocol will be drawn up in respect of the violator, who is currently being sought, in accordance with Article 7.21 of the Primorsky Krai Law 44-KZ "On Administrative Offenses in Primorsky Krai." The culprit faces a fine of 2.5 thousand rubles.

Earlier, on September 26, 2023, in Primorsky Krai, two people died from the fumes of rotting potatoes. Law enforcement agencies determined that the victims were cleaning the room where the old potatoes are stored.
