The gunners of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed two control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on May 31 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Soldiers of the 27th Artillery Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed two enemy UAV control points near the settlement of Alexandro-Shultino," the ministry said.

It is specified that during the combat mission, the gunners worked together with drone operators who helped adjust the fire.

Earlier, on May 30, the crew of a helicopter of the Russian Military Space Forces (VKS) destroyed a Ukrainian drone launch site in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
