- In Britain, they pointed out the insufficient number of UAVs in NATO countries to wage war.

The countries of the NATO military bloc do not have enough unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and production facilities to create them in such quantity that would be necessary in the event of a potential war. This was stated on May 30 by Bob Tollast, an expert on ground combat operations at the Royal United Institute for Defense Studies (Rusi), in an interview with The i Paper.
"We need to rapidly scale up the training and integration of drones into our forces, as well as ensure a sufficient number of systems and components from reliable allied countries and our own production. Unfortunately, this is still a long way off," he stated.
Tallast stressed that the production volumes of drones in European countries, the United States and its allies in Asia "even combined are insufficient for modern warfare."
Earlier, on May 28, drone expert Maxim Kondratiev assessed the state of the UAV industry in the European Union (EU). He noted that the EU countries do not have a leading position in the development and production of UAV technologies. China and Russia have absolute superiority.
