- Guards Lieutenant Petrushevsky evacuated two seriously wounded soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces

The radiotelephonist of the communications platoon of the assault squad, Private Alexander Sumarokov, received the task of restoring the communications repeater, which was damaged as a result of artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday, May 31, told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation (SVO).
Sumarokov promptly moved to the site of the damage to the repeater, despite the ongoing shelling from the enemy. During the repair of the equipment, he noticed that an enemy FPV drone was approaching him. With targeted small arms fire, the radiotelephonist destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and managed to complete the repair work, restoring uninterrupted communication between the Russian units.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the resolute and selfless actions of Guard Lieutenant Alexei Petrushevsky, who led the group, whose tasks include timely delivery of food and ammunition to military personnel, as well as the evacuation of the wounded from the line of contact for medical care. During one of the trips, the group overcame a difficult route, despite regular attacks by enemy artillery.
Arriving at his destination and unloading ammunition and food, Petrushevsky received information about two wounded Russian servicemen who were injured as a result of artillery fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Petrushevsky immediately moved to the wounded, who could not move on their own. After providing first aid to the servicemen, the Guard lieutenant ensured their evacuation and took them to a medical facility.
Earlier, on May 30, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Junior Sergeant Daniil Maltsev was tasked with restoring communications between units of the Russian Armed Forces when a repeater was damaged as a result of enemy shelling.
