PSB held a foresight session on the development of the Yaroslavl region

Peter Fradkov, Chairman of the PSB, and Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, participated in a foresight session organized by the bank.

According to the press service of the PSB, the event was aimed at "forming a strategic vision for the socio-economic development of the region, identifying priority areas for attracting and effectively using capital."

The foresight session lasted three days. It was also attended by representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, public associations, experts in the field of economics, finance and social development. The foresight session included several work formats: a business game with an imitation model, reflective analysis and analytical sessions, work in strategic groups, and an exhibition of projects.

The participants of the event identified the growth areas of the Yaroslavl region, discussed strategic points for the development of the region's economy, potential risks and formed scenarios for the future development of the Yaroslavl region with the participation of the bank.

"PSB has been legally registered in Yaroslavl since April, but from the very beginning we considered moving much more than just changing the address and registration. This is an opportunity for us to implement larger—scale plans," Fradkov said. He noted that the work carried out during the foresight session will determine the future of the project for the joint development of the region and the bank.

"The experience of cooperation between PSB and Yaroslavl region in those pilot projects, the ideas of which were born today, can become a good example and scale to the whole country," added the head of the bank.

Evrayev stressed that new interesting projects for the socio-economic development of the region were identified during the event. "And the overall goal of this development, as we and the experts of the foresight session see it, is to increase the happiness index of the residents of our region," the governor noted.

The PSB clarified that the bank and the region face the task of creating an environment for the relocation of more than 5,000 bank employees to Yaroslavl, accelerate development and increase the economic potential of the region.
