Explosion at a gas station in Kazakhstan injured 14 people

An explosion at a gas station in the city of Kulsary, Atyrau region of Kazakhstan injured 14 people, 10 of them were hospitalized. This was announced on May 30 by the press service of the akimat (administration) of the region.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the evening of May 30. As a result of the explosion, three one-storey buildings, one two-storey building, as well as a gas station caught fire.

"After the initial examination and the necessary diagnosis, 10 patients were hospitalized. Four more people are under outpatient supervision. The condition of all the injured is stable, there are no serious intensive care patients," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

60 rescuers and 10 units of special equipment are working at the fire site. As a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened.

On May 30, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that one person died in a fire in a regional apartment building, and seven others were injured. It is specified that one child is among the injured, he is in a medical facility for examination. Three more people were sent for outpatient treatment.
