Putin instructed to create recommendations on perpetuating the memory of defenders of the Fatherland

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the development of unified recommendations for perpetuating the memory of defenders of the Fatherland, including the fallen participants in the special military operation (SVO). This was reported on the Kremlin's website on May 30.

"The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, will develop common recommendations for perpetuating the memory of defenders of the Fatherland, including those killed in a special military operation," the publication says.

The head of state also instructed the government, together with the executive bodies of the subjects, to develop conditions for the admission of participants in the special operation to the municipal service.

This should be done, among other things, by changing the qualification requirements for the length of municipal service or work in the specialty, as well as for the educational level.

Among the initiatives are a fourfold increase in monthly payments and a reduction in the retirement age.

On March 6, speaking about perpetuating the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, Putin proposed naming streets, schools and institutes in honor of the heroes of his homeland.
