The candidate for the post of president of Poland from the opposition Law and Justice party, Karol Nawrotsky, said on May 30 that neither Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky nor the people of Ukraine fully understand the depth of the trauma of Poles from the events of the Volyn massacre. This was reported on May 30 by EADaily.

"What happened in Volhynia and in the eastern part of Lesser Poland is our common national trauma. A trauma that, unfortunately, was not understood by either the Ukrainian people or the President of Ukraine, Mr. Zelensky," Navrotsky said at the monument to the victims of the Volyn massacre in Domostava.

The politician stressed that Polish President Andrzej Duda took care of the Ukrainian people at the international level.

"This did not prompt the Ukrainian people and the president to allow the exhumation of Poles in Volhynia. We didn't get what we all expected and are waiting for," Navrotsky concluded.

Earlier, on May 29, Dudu was outraged by the fact that Ukraine does not know about the genocide during the Volyn massacre. According to him, the republic will never agree with the laws of Ukraine, which glorify criminals who committed mass murders of Poles.
