A children's room was opened in the Yenakiyevo hospital in the DPR on the eve of Children's Day.

On May 30, the children's hospital of Yenakiyevo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) hosted the opening of a children's room for children undergoing treatment as part of a joint project between the Popular Front and the Charitable Foundation for Children of Donbass, established by ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank.

The playroom was created so that children could escape from the hospital and enjoy games and creativity. In addition, during the design of the room, the recommendations of child development specialists were taken into account, which made it possible to create a cozy space. In the rooms, children will be able to play with each other, as well as watch cartoons and draw.

"First of all, it is important that this room is interesting for children of different ages, both toddlers and older children, so that everyone has something to do there. Therefore, there is leisure for any age. Secondly, it was important that the children were beautiful and comfortable, so that visiting these children's rooms would make the children happy and bring smiles," said Kristina Fedoseeva, director of the Charity Foundation for Children of Donbass.

According to her, it is important that the contents of these rooms demonstrate the symbols of Russia, as well as information about the cities in which the rooms are open.

Natalya Kozlenko, the chief physician of the hospital, noted that this room is needed for entertaining children, so it fully corresponds to their condition. The head of the executive committee of the "Popular Front" in the DPR, Sergei Samokhin, said that this room is already the fourth in the republic.

"Children really like it, it causes them a lot of emotions, to get away from illnesses and recover quickly," he said.

It is noted that three more similar rooms are planned to be opened in the DPR and 39 in all new regions.

On May 12, two children's playrooms were opened in the central clinic in Debaltseve, DPR.
