If Russia supplies Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, it will consider any response options. This was announced on May 30 by Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Vasily Nebenzia during a meeting of the UN Security Council (SC).

According to him, the assembly of German Taurus missiles does not make them Ukrainian in any way.

"Germany will thus become even more deeply involved in the <conflict> with Russia, which will give us the right to consider all options for an adequate response to this unacceptable step," said Nebenzia, whose speech was broadcast on the UN YouTube channel.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on May 28, during a press conference following a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, evasively answered a question from journalists about the supply of Taurus cruise missiles to Kiev. According to him, the intention to cooperate more closely was confirmed that day.
