Bentley began production of road replicas of the car in 1929

Bentley and Hedley Studios have launched serial assembly of fully functional copies of the sports car Blower, which is called one of the most famous pre-war models of the British brand. The car, dubbed the Blower Jnr, will be allowed to drive on public roads, the Bentley press service said.
The Bentley Blower Jnr was designed based on the design of the original 1929 model, which is kept in the brand's museum. The new machine is made on a scale of 85% of the original. Its length is 3.7 m and its width is 1.5 m. The passenger seat is located behind the driver's seat.
The car was equipped with a 20-horsepower electric motor and a battery with enough capacity for 105 km of travel. The maximum speed of the car reaches 72 km/h. The model is equipped with modern solutions, for example, Brembo brakes and a carbon fiber body. The trunk is located in place of the fuel tank, the standard switches in the cabin now act as selectors for selecting the driving mode and controlling the transmission, and the standard ammeter shows the battery charge.
A total of 349 copies of the Bentley Blower Jnr will be produced, the starting price is not specified. The first deliveries are scheduled to begin in late summer.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Czech supercar Praga Bohema became the fastest production road car with a non-electrified power plant on the Top Gear test track in the British Dunsfold.
