A resident of Altai tried to rape a girl and attacked the police during the arrest.

A resident of the village of Sungai in the Altai Territory tried to rape a minor and attacked police officers during his arrest. This was announced on May 30 by a source of Izvestia.

"The illegal actions of the man were noticed by a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on May 27, and he reported them. The police arrived at the scene and found the attacker in the courtyard of one of the houses with a knife. He resisted and threatened to kill," the source explained.

Law enforcement officers had to use weapons, as a result of which the man was wounded in the thigh. It is specified that his life is not in danger. At the moment, law enforcement officers are continuing their investigation.
