- The Indian Interior Ministry announced the destruction of 118 Pakistani border posts by border guards.

India's Border Security Forces (BSF) destroyed or damaged approximately 118 enemy posts on the border during the three days of conflict with Pakistan. This was announced on May 30 by the head of the Indian Interior Ministry, Amit Shah.
"When Pakistan responded to our anti—terrorist operations by attacking our borders and civilian areas, BSF units on the Jammu border retaliated, destroying and damaging more than 118 posts," The Times of India newspaper quoted the minister as saying during a visit to northern India.
The head of the department clarified that the Indian military destroyed the entire enemy's surveillance and communications system in parts. Now it will take 4-5 years for Pakistan to rebuild it. The Shah added that the damage caused had made the neighboring state "unable to wage a full-fledged information war for quite some time."
Earlier, on May 20, the AFP news agency, citing a source in the Pakistani intelligence services, reported that Islamabad and New Delhi had agreed to withdraw troops to the positions occupied by the countries before the conflict began by the end of May. It was specified that the troops would be withdrawn gradually.
Relations between Pakistan and India have been strained since the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 27 civilians were killed. On May 7, the Indian Ministry of Defense announced the start of the Sindoor military operation against Pakistan. According to Samaa, Islamabad launched retaliatory missile strikes on Indian territory.
