Russia has created an automatic guidance system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with artificial intelligence (AI). This was announced on May 30 by the Intel Drone development company (a resident of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies).

"The system connects to any FPV drone as a module, and it's very simple. <...> It independently recognizes the enemy's equipment and manpower and calculates the ideal point of defeat," said a representative of the organization in an interview with TASS.

According to him, a UAV with a new integrated system can operate completely autonomously: if communication is lost, the drone itself scans the situation and calculates the most effective path to defeat.

The prototype has already been tested at the test site and will soon be tested in the area of a special military operation, the source said.

In April, Russian soldiers of the volunteer battalion "Lynx" told how they develop and assemble ammunition for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in their secret laboratory. A military man with the call sign Schemar shared that various weapons can be created in the laboratory "out of nothing": to assemble an explosive device for a UAV, it requires a little metal, plastic, and a 3D printer.
