Among the Russians surveyed, the majority (60%) take a walk to get rid of anxiety. This is stated in the research results of the Röndell brand, which were reviewed by Izvestia on June 2.

At the same time, 48% indulge themselves with sweets, 40% are distracted by TV series, 35% read, 30% watch funny videos, and 8% listen to podcasts. One in three cooks something delicious, 27% clean the house, 25% shop for the soul. A physical reboot is equally important.: 20% play sports, 17% choose dancing, 15% practice yoga and meditation.

Experts noted that delicious food has long been not only a source of pleasure, but also a way to reduce anxiety. In difficult times, it is to her that many turn for support. So, 48% brew tea or coffee in their favorite mug, 32% order delivery, 18% prepare proven dishes, and 17% try new recipes to regain a sense of inspiration.

At the same time, the love of rituals is evident in the details.: 18% of Russians set the table, brew tea, heat soup — slowly, thoughtfully. At the same time, 12% do it even alone, turning every meal into a small celebration. Meanwhile, 20% prefer not to cook at all and are saved by delivery.

"Personal rituals are one of the most effective ways to gain inner support. In times of instability, many people start cooking — it helps to reduce anxiety and feel connected to reality," said Olga Pastushenko, Röndell's leading brand manager.

However, gastronomy is only a part of taking care of yourself. For 75%, it's also physical activity and proper sleep. Another 70% pay attention to appearance, 47% strive for personal growth. For 52%, the key principle is to listen to yourself and your desires. Some choose to slow down and take a deep breath (43%), others choose to get rid of excess and conserve energy (33%). Also, 43% change the space around them: they trash the house, buy nice little things or make themselves gifts for no reason.

Earlier, on April 26, Dmitry Semiryadov, a nutritionist and nutritionist, told Izvestia that too frequent use of smartphones and computers can increase stress levels. In addition, excessive consumption of caffeine, which is found in coffee, tea, and chocolate, can increase anxiety and harm sleep.
