Russian tennis player Samsonova reached the fourth round of Roland Garros

On May 30, Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova beat Ukrainian athlete Dayana Yastremskaya in the third round match of the French Open Roland Garros in Paris.

The match lasted one hour and 28 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 6:3 in favor of Samsonova, seeded at the tournament at number 19. Yastremskaya performed without a seeding number.

In the next round of the championship, the Russian will play with Chinese tennis player Zheng Qingwen (without a seeding number), adds Sport-Express.

Samsonova is 26 years old, and she is on the 18th line in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles scoring rankings. The tennis player has won five tournaments under the auspices of the organization.

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated American Ashlyn Krueger on May 29 and made it to the third round of Roland Garros. Andreeva beat her opponent with a score of 6:3, 6:4.
