Izvestia and REN TV became the leaders of the Medialogia rating in April

In April, Izvestia once again confirmed its leadership among the print media in Russia, and REN TV took the first place in terms of citations among all Russian TV channels.

Izvestia topped the top 10 most quoted federal print media. The citation index of the publication in April was 2,435.70. Kommersant newspaper is on the second line of the rating (CI: 2014.73), and Rossiyskaya Gazeta took the third place (CI: 897.68).

"The leader of the rating in April among newspapers is Izvestia," the report says. Izvestia reported that the regions may change the payment for garbage collection, and that fines for scooter driving by children and teenagers have tripled.

REN TV became the most quoted TV channel of the month with a citation index of 555.78. According to Medialogia, the greatest interest of the audience was aroused by the story about graffiti in memory of rapper Pasha Technique on Tsoi's wall on Arbat, as well as an interview with Mikhail Efremov's lawyer Yuri Padalko before the actor's release from prison.

When calculating the rating, Russian federal media were taken into account, as well as online resources that cover federal and regional events.

Earlier, Medialogia published data for the first quarter of 2025 — the website of the 78 TV channel took the first place among all St. Petersburg media outlets, surpassing the previous leader, Fontanka.
