EP MP Kartheiser called Russia clean, beautiful and safe

Russia, and in particular its capital, Moscow, is clean, beautiful and safe. This was announced on May 30 by Fernand Kartheiser, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from Luxembourg.

He noted that he had visited the Hermitage, the Kremlin twice, as well as Lenin's Mausoleum, but was still trying to see something new in Russia.

The EP deputy added that Russia is an amazing country.

"In the West, they often don't know how interesting it is from the point of view of tourism. But it's very beautiful, very clean and very safe," Kartheiser told RIA Novosti.

The EP deputy made such a statement after a visit to Russia on May 25, during which the politician held meetings with Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky.
