The Russian delegation will be ready for direct talks with Ukraine on June 2 in Istanbul. This was announced on May 30 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Our delegation of negotiators is going to Istanbul," he said at a briefing.

In addition, Peskov added that Moscow will be ready on Monday morning, June 2, to continue the dialogue with Kiev.

On May 30, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia has an open position on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
