Almost 100 thousand Hyundai cars are being recalled in Russia due to the risk of fire

The Hyundai Motor CIS company recalls 99.3 thousand Hyundai cars in Russia. This was announced by Rosstandart on May 30. The recall covers the Hyundai Grandeur, Genesis Coupe, Grand Santa Fe, Veloster, i40, Solaris and Santa Fe models sold between 2010 and 2015.

"The reason for the vehicle recall: occasionally, a short circuit may occur in the HECU module (ABS unit), which may increase the risk of fire in the engine compartment," said Rosstandart, which listed the VIN numbers of the recalled vehicles on its website.

Car owners who participate in the recall campaign should contact the nearest dealership and arrange the time of the visit.

Dealer specialists will replace the multi-guard on all cars, and the work will be free for car owners.
