The former Stig set a new record on the Top Gear circuit

The Czech supercar Praga Bohema has become the fastest mass-produced road car with a non-electrified power plant on the Top Gear test track in Dunsfold, Britain, the brand's press service said. The record was set by British pilot Ben Collins, who previously worked in Top Gear as a "secret racer" named Stig.
Ben Collins, driving a Praga Bohema, completed the 2.82-kilometer lap in 1 minute and 9.8 seconds. This time turned out to be only 0.2 seconds worse than the result of the Aston Martin Valkyrie hybrid hypercar, which this spring became the fastest production road car on this track.
The Praga brand plans to produce only 89 copies of Bohema, all of them are assembled by hand in the Czech Republic. Deliveries to the first customer began at the end of last year.
The model is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine from the Nissan GT-R, which develops 700 hp (750 Nm). The weight of the Bohema is less than 1 ton. Acceleration from a standstill to a hundred takes 2.3 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 300 km/h. At a speed of 250 km/h, the advanced aerodynamics of the supercar generates over 900 kg of downforce.
The day before, it was reported that a solemn ceremony was held in China dedicated to the export of the first batch of Nordcross cars to Russia. These models turned out to be Lynk-based machines. & Co and Lotus.
