Putin discussed health issues with permanent members of the Security Council

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed healthcare issues with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. This was announced on May 30 by the Kremlin's press service.

"The issue of healthcare is on the agenda of the operational meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council today," he said.

The President also noted that Russia's sovereignty and security are particularly linked to the provision of medicines.

On May 13, Putin said that in recent years Russia had made a huge step forward in preserving the health of its citizens, but stressed that there was still work to be done. The Head of State expressed gratitude to all medical workers.
