Musk spoke about his predicament in the civil service.

American billionaire Elon Musk, who left the post of head of the Department of Public Administration Efficiency (DOGE), said on May 30 that he felt in a difficult position in the department due to disagreements with officials of the administration of US President Donald Trump.
According to the entrepreneur, he did not fully agree with many things, although it is difficult to admit this in an interview.
"I find myself in a difficult position: I don't seem to want to speak out against the administration, but I also don't want to take responsibility for everything it does," the entrepreneur said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning correspondent David Pogue.
The day before, Musk announced that his term of office as a special civil servant was coming to an end. He also thanked Trump for the "opportunity to reduce wasteful spending" by the government.
