- The Kremlin approved the idea of the State Duma to create a multifunctional digital service

The creation of a multifunctional digital service in Russia integrated with Public Services, the draft law on which has been submitted to the Russian parliament, is a very good idea. This was announced on May 30 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"The appearance of a national messenger is very cool. Provided that it is a competitive messenger that is not inferior, as we say, to foreign analogues, because there are a lot of foreign analogues, they are all available. I don't really know the nuances of integration with Gosuslugi and so on," the Russian president's press secretary said at a briefing.
Peskov added that there should be more than one service similar to the one announced in the Russian Federation, since this area is competitive, and all applications in the world develop only in conditions of fierce competition.
Earlier on May 30, the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Sergei Boyarsky, announced that the Chamber of the Russian Parliament had received a draft amendment on the creation of a national multifunctional digital service in the Russian Federation. Boyarsky noted that the new service will have many interesting and unique features. Thanks to it, a secure environment will be created for communication, phone calls and at the same time receiving government and commercial services.
Prior to that, on May 1, the head of the State Duma Committee on Property Issues, a member of the Board of Directors of Russian Post, Sergey Gavrilov, reported that a bill on the integration of Russian Post with digital services, including Public Services, would be submitted to the State Duma during May-June.
