The Ukrainian authorities postponed the Children's Day to November

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the postponement of the celebration of Children's Day from June 1 to November 20. The relevant decree was published on the website of the administration of the Ukrainian leader on May 30.
"To establish Children's Day in Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on World Children's Day — November 20," the document says.
It is noted that this decision was made in order to "strengthen and unite the efforts of the international community aimed at protecting the rights and best interests of the child." Thus, the previous document from 1998, according to which Children's Day was celebrated on June 1, is canceled.
The Kiev regime has repeatedly postponed the dates of various holidays in Ukraine, explaining, among other things, the need to sever cultural ties with Russia. So, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, having approved in July 2023 Zelensky's project on postponing the celebration of Christmas, the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, said that this was done to "abandon the Russian heritage."
