In the city of Spassk-Dalny, Primorsky Krai, a water heater exploded in a multi-storey building, damaging walls and windows. This was reported on May 30 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"On May 30, 2025, in an apartment building <...> as a result of the depressurization of the water heating equipment in the house, damage occurred to the internal walls and window openings of one of the apartments," the department's Telegram channel says.

Footage from the scene shows that the explosion caused the destruction of the inner wall of the house.

It is clarified that after the incident, the residents of the house were evacuated, no injuries were reported. The prosecutor's office has started checking.

On May 21, a gas explosion occurred in an apartment building in Stavropol. According to the Izvestia source, it happened on the 18th floor. As a result of the incident, three people were injured.

The governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, spoke about the elimination of the fire. Vladimirov stressed that specialists would subsequently inspect the building in order to plan work on its restoration.
