The UK has opened a case of a terrorist attack on the fact of a massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Kursk

A criminal case has been opened into a terrorist attack on the city of Kursk by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on May 30 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the investigation, on the night of May 30, 2025, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type to strike civilian infrastructure facilities.

As a result of the attack, residential buildings and the building of the Kursk regional hospital were damaged. One man received shrapnel wounds due to the fall of the drone debris on the car in which he was. Medical assistance is provided to the victim.

"Military investigators examined the scene of the incident, and fragments of aircraft with appropriate markings and inscriptions in Ukrainian were found," said Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee.

The criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "b", Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). The persons involved in the attack are being identified.

On May 29, military investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation revealed another crime committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which a 57-year-old civilian from the Kursk region was injured. It was clarified that the investigators are conducting a check to identify all those involved in the crime.
