Florida and Edmonton will play in the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year in a row.

The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers hockey clubs will meet in the National Hockey League (NHL) finals twice in a row. The Canadian team advanced to the final round of the NHL playoffs with a five-game series win against the Dallas Stars on May 30.

It is specified that in the previous season, the Panthers won the finals with a score of 4:3.

Thus, three Russian hockey players will participate in the Stanley Cup finals: forward Vasily Podkolzin as part of Edmonton, as well as goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky and defenseman Dmitry Kulikov as part of Florida.
