US President Donald Trump is more interested in resetting relations with Russia than in achieving peace in Ukraine. This was reported by Politico on May 29, citing a European official.
"Perhaps he (Trump - Ed.) wants a reset of relations with Russia more than anything else," the newspaper quoted the official as saying.
It is also noted that Trump refrains from pressure in relations with the Russian side.
On May 29, it was reported that Trump was not losing hope that he would be able to establish economic cooperation with Moscow. It was clarified that some Republicans in the US Congress and White House advisers are calling on Trump to adopt new anti-Russian sanctions.
