- The FSB detained six arsonists in the regions of the Russian Federation on instructions from Kiev

The Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) has detained six people in three regions of the Russian Federation who, on instructions from the Ukrainian special services, set fire to transport infrastructure and decorations by May 9. This was announced on May 30 at the department's Public Relations Center.
The detainees, born in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2010, said that under the influence of telephone fraudsters, they transferred from 100,000 to 1 million rubles to "secure accounts." Then they were tricked into committing arson in the Novgorod, Leningrad and Tyumen regions, threatening criminal liability for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Criminal proceedings were initiated on this fact under Part 2 of Article 205 ("Terrorist act") of the Criminal Code of Russia.
"For committing these crimes, they face a penalty of 10 to 20 years in prison," the FSB Central Control Center said in a statement.
On May 22, the FSB Central Control Center of Russia reported the detention of two minors who planned to set fire to the building of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Tver region. The defendants received instructions from the Ukrainian curators before Victory Day. One of them, born in 2011, made incendiary devices, the other was notified where to find ready-made means for a terrorist attack. Law enforcement officers stopped criminal activity, and a criminal case was opened on this fact under Part 1 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205, part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the commission of a terrorist act and participation in a terrorist organization"). The court chose a preventive measure for the teenagers in the form of detention.
