US President Donald Trump has no plans to send an American delegation to direct talks between Russia and Ukraine on the settlement of the conflict in Istanbul. This was reported on May 2 by The Atlantic magazine, citing sources.
"The United States has no plans to send a delegation, but White House aides have said that Trump wants to see progress," the article says.
Although Trump has been talking with aides about the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions in recent days, according to the newspaper, he expects a new round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
