"At 13:30 Eastern time (20:30 Moscow time), I will have a press conference with Elon Musk in the Oval Office," Trump wrote.

The president stressed that this would be Musk's last day as head of DOGE, "but he will always be with the Trump administration, helping all the way."

On May 29, Musk announced that his term of office as a special civil servant was coming to an end. He thanked Trump for the "opportunity to reduce wasteful spending" by the government.
