Episodes of the spy detective series "Striking Ray" were filmed at the Moskino Film Park. This was announced on Friday, May 30, according to the official website of Moscow. mos.ru .
The film park's full-scale venues were involved in the production of the new film: "St. Petersburg Bar", "Vitebsk Railway Station" and "Moscow of the 1940s".
"Several locations for the film were used at the film park site at once. The location shooting took place in the setting of "Moscow of the 1940s". Here we shot Germany in the 1970s," said Alexander Starikov, the producer of the detective story.
The film tells the story of Kim Nikanorov, a currency speculator who was recruited by Soviet intelligence for a disinformation operation against American intelligence services. Under cover, Nikanorov must establish contact with representatives of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
"The Film Park is a wonderful playground. Incredibly interesting both today and in the future. It is very pleasant to be here, and everything is conducive to work," said the film's director Alexei Muradov.
The Moskino Film Park is part of the Moscow City Cinema project by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. It includes 24 natural sites, four pavilions and six different infrastructure facilities.
On May 27, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina said that at the end of the month, the first events will start, which will be prepared by the cultural venues of the capital in honor of the International Children's Day. One of the key events will be the Nebo Children's Art Festival, which will be held on May 31 and June 1 in Muzeon Park. The festival will bring together creative teams from the capital, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Voronezh, Krasnoyarsk, Tobolsk and Kaliningrad.
