The administration of US President Donald Trump has threatened to stop funding counties and cities from 30 states that do not cooperate with immigration services. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, May 29.

It clarifies that the Trump administration has published a list of counties and cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle, against which it can take action for non-compliance with federal immigration laws.

Trump threatened to cut off their federal funding and sue institutions that do not change their practices, the newspaper reported.

On May 3, Trump announced on the Truth Social network that in the event of a possible refusal by courts in the United States to assist the government in deporting migrants, the country in its current form has come to an end.
