The King of Saudi Arabia received a letter from Putin

Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by the SPA agency on May 30.
According to the publication, the letter is dedicated to the bilateral relations between the two states.
"The message was conveyed to Deputy Foreign Minister Walid El-Kereji by Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov during their meeting yesterday at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh," the agency said.
During the meeting, the diplomats discussed regional and international developments, as well as bilateral relations.
Earlier, on April 28, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, during a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Saud bin Abdullah Al Muajib, said that Russia and Saudi Arabia should continue working on resuming direct flights. The Prosecutor General of Saudi Arabia, in turn, assured that work in this direction "is actively underway and is in the final stages." According to him, the issue will be resolved in the near future.
