Greta Thunberg intends to visit the Gaza Strip despite the Israeli blockade

Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg intends to visit the Gaza Strip as part of a humanitarian mission, despite its blockade by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was announced on May 28 by the French member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan on the social network X.
It follows from Hassan's video message that she and Thunberg will travel to the Gaza Strip on Sunday, June 1, aboard a humanitarian vessel.
"This weekend, I'm going aboard a new humanitarian vessel with the Freedom Flotilla," Hassan wrote.
On the same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected claims that the people of the Gaza Strip were suffering from hunger and that Israel was allegedly pursuing a policy of deliberate starvation.
On May 26, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that over 1 million residents of the Gaza Strip could be left without food if Israel did not open access to humanitarian aid supplies.
