Briton Paul Doyle, who ran over a crowd of people in Liverpool, was charged with dangerous driving and intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. This was reported by The Guardian on Thursday, May 29.

A car drove into a crowd celebrating Liverpool's victory in the Premier League on May 26. The incident occurred on Water Street, as a result of which at least 47 people were injured. Later, the Daily Mail newspaper, citing Merseyside police, reported that the hit-and-run was committed by a 53-year-old British citizen.
